Trois-Rivières is a city located within Quebec, Canada.

Homeowners occupy about 55% of the units in Trois-Rivières and the rest are rented. Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing around 45% of buildings in this city, and the rest of the dwellings are mainly small apartment buildings. About one third of properties in this city were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This city is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes.

The best transportation option in this city is usually a car. Most properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, such as Autoroute Félix-Leclerc, and finding a place to park is generally easy. It is impractical for pedestrians to get around in this city since very few common errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle.

Families may consider it challenging to reach high schools and primary schools on foot. Moreover, it can be challenging to get to daycares as a pedestrian. Parents are served by public and private schools at both the primary and high school level. With respect to food, getting to one of over 50 supermarkets on foot is feasible for some, but not all, home buyers in Trois-Rivières. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well.

Trois-Rivières is quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case closer to the airport (YRQ), the railway line, Autoroute Félix-Leclerc or Autoroute de l'Énergie.
