Saint-Jérôme is a city situated in the Greater Montréal metropolitan area, which is part of Quebec, Canada.


In Saint-Jérôme, roughly 40% of dwellings are small apartment buildings, but duplexes and single detached homes are also present in the housing stock. Travelling on foot is not very practical for home buyers in Saint-Jérôme since very few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.


Some home buyers in Saint-Jérôme may be able to reach one of approximately 30 supermarkets on foot, while others will have to turn to a vehicle. Residents are served by over 150 restaurants and coffee shops as well. When it comes to education, primary schools are convenient to reach on foot from most homes for sale in Saint-Jérôme. In contrast, high schools are not especially abundant and consequently tend to require a long walk to get to. Families have the option of public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level.


Saint-Jérôme is reasonably good for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially near Autoroute des Laurentides or one of the railway lines. Parks aren't well-distributed, making it rather challenging to get to them. Still, there are around 10 parks nearby for residents to explore.
