There are approximately 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. It is also convenient for people travelling on foot to navigate this neighbourhood; running common errands is easy. It is convenient to move around by bicycle in this neighbourhood as the cycling network is good, and riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain.


In this part of the city, families will generally be able to get to primary schools and daycares by walking. In contrast, Maizerets does not have any high schools. With respect to food, the closest grocery store in Maizerets is generally only a short walk away. Furthermore, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and residents benefit from a few cafes as well. It is also a reasonably short distance to a good choice of clothing stores.
