Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in Lévis. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Robert-Cliche, from anywhere in this city, and it is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit system in Lévis is fairly poor. Thankfully, there are over 50 bus lines crossing the city, and it is convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most homes. Travelling on foot is not very practical for house buyers in Lévis because meeting daily needs is challenging by walking.

Services

Families may consider it difficult for their kids to access high schools and primary schools on foot. In addition, it can be difficult to access daycares as a pedestrian. Parents are served by public and private schools at both the primary and secondary school level. As far as eating is concerned, getting to one of over 50 grocery stores on foot is possible for some, but not all, property owners in Lévis. There are also a few opportunities for those who appreciate restaurants in close proximity.

Character

Lévis is reasonably good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case closer to Autoroute Robert-Cliche, Autoroute Jean-Lesage or one of the railway lines. Public green spaces are spread out sporadically, which results in them being occasionally challenging to reach from most locations in this city. Still, there are over 150 parks nearby for residents to check out, like Parc des Chutes-de-la-Chaudière and La Grande Plée-Bleue.
