The town of Cornwall, Prince Edward Island is located in the Greater Charlottetown metropolitan area.


The predominant housing types in Cornwall are single detached homes and row houses. About one third of properties in this town were built between 1960 and 1980, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 1990s. This part of the Greater Charlottetown metropolitan area offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly three quarters of the units in the town are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented.


The preferred method to navigate Cornwall is usually a car. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park. Cornwall is not very conducive to those who travel by foot because almost no common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.


Getting to the nearest grocery store by walking is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in this part of the Greater Charlottetown metropolitan area. A limited selection of coffee shops is available as well. When it comes to education, high schools and primary schools are not especially plentiful in this town, and consequently not always within walking distance. In addition, it can be very hard to get to daycares as a pedestrian.


Cornwall is very good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are very calm.
