Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Vaughan. Most properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 427, and coming across a place to park is quite easy. However, travelling by transit can be challenging in Vaughan due to the low service level. Nonetheless, house owners profit from the Rutherford Station and Maple Station on the Barrie Line. Residents benefit from over 50 bus lines, and most homes are near a bus stop. It is difficult for pedestrians to navigate Vaughan as many day-to-day needs are sometimes challenging to meet by walking. Vaughan is also not particularly appropriate for bicycling as riding is rendered strenuous by the often steep area, and this city has a somewhat poor cycling infrastructure. Nevertheless, cycling is more feasible in some pockets than others.

Services

Accessing one of over 200 supermarkets by walking is an option for some, but not all, property owners in this part of the Greater Toronto metropolitan area. A small selection of restaurants and cafes can be found as well. As far as education is concerned, in Vaughan, families will generally be able to access primary schools by walking. In contrast, it can be challenging to reach high schools as a pedestrian. Besides public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.

There are over 200 green spaces nearby for residents to explore, such as Rainbow Creek Park and Sonoma Heights Community Park, resulting in them being easy to access from most locations in Vaughan. This part of the Greater Toronto metropolitan area is also good for those who prefer quiet surroundings, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - however noise can be bothersome around Highway 407, Highway 400 or one of the railway lines.
