The majority of properties for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 420, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, residents using public transit may have very limited choices in Westlane by reason of the low service level. Thankfully, property owners are served by around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are generally close by. Many of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are not very well-suited for walking as very few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

Accessing the closest supermarket on foot is possible for some, but not all, property owners in Westlane. There are also over 50 restaurants and cafes in this part of Niagara Falls. As far as education is concerned, there are only a few high schools and primary schools in Westlane and consequently they can be a rather long walk away. Additionally, it can be difficult to get to daycares on foot.

Character

People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Westlane. This part of the city is quiet, as the streets are usually quite calm - although there are still several noisier sections, especially closer to one of the railway lines, Highway 420 or Queen Elizabeth Way. Lastly, accessing parks is easy from most locations in the neighbourhood since there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to discover.
