This part of the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area is especially car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Highway 420, are quite easy to reach from any location in this city, and it is very convenient to find a parking spot. However, commuting by transit can be very hard in Niagara Falls by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, there is the Niagara Falls Station with access to the Lakeshore West Line. There are approximately 30 bus lines traversing the city, and most residences are close to a bus stop. It is difficult for pedestrians to move around in this part of the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area since very few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

Some, but not all, property owners in this city will reside within walking distance of one of over 50 supermarkets. There are also a few options for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes. As far as education is concerned, parents may find it challenging for their children to reach high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. Additionally, it can be difficult to get to daycares on foot. Along with public schools, there are private primary and high schools.

Character

Niagara Falls is good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several louder sections, especially closer to one of the railway lines, Queen Elizabeth Way or Highway 405. Reaching parks is occasionally challenging in the city since they are distributed sporadically. Still, there are over 100 green spaces close by for residents to explore.
