This neighbourhood affords property owners several alternative means of transportation. Malton has a reasonably good public transit system owing to about 10 nearby bus lines. This part of the city is also quite cycling-friendly because the bicycling network is reasonably extensive. Walking is not particularly feasible for residents in Malton since most daily needs are at times challenging to meet by walking. In contrast, Malton is a very convenient part of Mississauga for moving around by car. Finding a parking spot is easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 427.


The nearest supermarket in this part of the city is generally only a reasonably short walk away. A small number of restaurants and cafes are available as well. Malton is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This part of Mississauga is quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some parts can be quite loud, especially around Highway 427 or the railway line. Lastly, there are approximately 20 green spaces nearby for residents to discover, including Malton Greenway and Victory Park, which makes them very easy to access.
