Erindale is very car friendly. Parking is easy. In contrast, the public transit system in Erindale is somewhat poor. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. It is at times difficult for pedestrians to navigate Erindale as few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. In contrast, moving around by bicycle is convenient in this neighbourhood since the cycling infrastructure is comprehensive.

Services

The nearest supermarket in Erindale is typically only a reasonably short walk away. Moreover, this part of Mississauga is a good place in which to eat out, and home buyers can enjoy a few cafes as well. A good selection of clothing stores can also be found within a rather short walking distance. Concerning education, both primary and secondary schools are easy to reach on foot from anywhere in Erindale. Besides public schools, there are also private schools at both the elementary and high school level. However, daycares are not especially numerous and thus may require a long walk to get to.

Character

Erindale is a good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, there are about 20 parks close by for residents to unwind in, including Riverwood Park and Woodland Park, making them very easy to access from a large number of locations in Erindale.
