Milton is an extraordinarily good part of the Greater Toronto metropolitan area for moving around by car. It is very easy to park. However, the public transit service in this town is not very frequent. Thankfully, property owners are served by the Milton Station with access to the Milton Line. Residents have access to a few bus lines. Commuting by bicycle is challenging in this town since there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the cycling infrastructure is rather poor. Walking is also not very feasible for property owners in Milton as almost no common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

Getting to one of approximately 40 grocery stores by walking is practical for some, but not all, house buyers in Milton. A small number of restaurants and cafes are available as well. With regards to education, high schools and primary schools are not especially abundant in Milton, and therefore not always within walking distance. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools. Likewise, daycares are not numerous and thus tend to require a very long walk to get to.

Character

Milton is quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to Highway 407, Highway 403 or one of the railway lines. It is occasionally difficult to reach parks in the town since they are distributed sporadically. Despite that, there are over 50 green spaces nearby for residents to check out.
