Driving is usually the best transportation option in this area. It is a rather short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in Mountain View, and it is very convenient to park. However, the public transit service in this part of the town is not very frequent. Most homes for sale in this area are located in areas that are not especially suitable for those who travel by foot as few common errands can be run without needing to resort to a car. This area is also not very bike-friendly because riding a bicycle is made difficult by the typically hilly topography, and the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive.

Mountain View offers a slower-paced environment and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. There are a few green spaces nearby for residents to visit, which makes it easy to access them. This part of the town is also quiet, as the streets are generally tranquil - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially closer to the railway line.
