Transportation
Longwoods is very car friendly. Parking is generally easy, and it is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway, such as Highway 402, from any location in this part of London. However, the public transit system in Longwoods is quite poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines. Longwoods is not very suitable for walking since carrying out daily needs is difficult.
Services
A portion of residents in Longwoods may be able to do their groceries by walking, while others will have to turn to a vehicle. There are also a few options for those who care about restaurants and cafes in close proximity. As far as education is concerned, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Longwoods. Additionally, daycares are not numerous and consequently not always within walking distance.
Character
Most areas in Longwoods are reasonably quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case around Highway 402 or Highway 401.
