Getting around by bicycle is difficult in this area as the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are quite a few elevation changes. Walking in Eastwood is also not very popular, although running common errands is easy.

Both primary and secondary schools are convenient to access on foot from any location in this neighbourhood. However, it can be challenging to reach daycares as a pedestrian. With respect to eating, a vehicle is commonly needed in Eastwood to access the nearest grocery store. Nonetheless, getting to the closest pharmacy and thus some staple foods is typically convenient. A restaurant is often just around the corner. It is also easy to reach a number of clothing stores on foot.
Character
There is a broad selection of green spaces in Eastwood. Parks are very easy to get to since there are a few of them close by for residents to check out. Due to the presence of few pedestrians, this neighbourhood remains relatively quiet; however noise levels are higher closer to Highway 8 or Highway 7.
