Victoria Highlands is a fairly good part of Cambridge for travelling by car. It is straightforward to park. On the other hand, the public transit network in this part of Cambridge is not very practical. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Victoria Highlands is not very suited for cycling since there are a limited number of bike lanes, and bicycling is rendered strenuous by the often steep area. This neighbourhood is also not particularly well-suited for those who travel by foot because few daily needs can be carried out without the use of a car.

Parents and their schoolchildren will appreciate that wherever their home is located in Victoria Highlands, both primary and secondary schools are close by. In contrast, there are only a few daycares and accordingly they can be an extended walk away.
