Transportation
Ajax is very car friendly. It is straightforward to access a place to park. In contrast, travelling by public transit is challenging in this town. Nevertheless, property owners are served by the Ajax Station on the Lakeshore East Line. There are about 20 bus lines crossing the town, and bus stops are commonly nearby. Most houses for sale in this town are located in places that are not very convenient for those who travel by foot since meeting day-to-day needs is inconvenient by walking. Ajax is also not very bike-friendly because the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and cyclists encounter a considerable amount of slopes.
Services
Some, but not all, house buyers in Ajax will reside within walking distance of one of over 50 supermarkets. A small variety of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well. Regarding education, it is a reasonably short walk to get to primary schools from anywhere in Ajax. In contrast, it can be challenging to get to high schools as a pedestrian. Besides public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.
Character
Ajax is fairly good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case close to one of the railway lines or Highway 401. Public green spaces aren't well-spread out, making it very difficult to access them.
