The nearest grocery store in Rockingham is usually only a short walk away. Residents can enjoy a few restaurants and coffee shops as well. As far as education is concerned, it is a rather short walk to reach daycares and primary schools from any location in this area. However, there are no high schools in Rockingham.

The character of Rockingham is exemplified by its calm ambience. This area is fairly good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are generally reasonably tranquil - although there are still several louder sections, especially near the railway line. Lastly, it is easy to access green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to relax in.
