On the other hand, getting around by public transit is difficult in Brookhaven. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Travelling on foot is not particularly feasible for property owners in this part of Mount Pearl as few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

The nearest grocery store in Brookhaven is usually only a reasonably short walk away. With regards to education, families will value the proximity to daycares, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, homes for sale in this part of the city.
