Driving is a great mode of transportation in Westhill. It is very easy to park, and the majority of homes for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. However, the public transit system in Westhill is rather limited. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally nearby. Walking is not very feasible for property owners in Westhill because most daily needs are impractical to meet by walking. This neighbourhood is also not very bike-friendly as there is a considerable amount of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive.
Services
Primary schools are convenient to get to on foot from anywhere in this neighbourhood. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this area. As far as food is concerned, buying one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a vehicle in this area.
Character
Westhill offers a calm ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This area is fairly good for those who need quiet surroundings, as the streets are reasonably peaceful - although that is not the case closer to Trans-Canada Highway. Lastly, it is easy to reach public green spaces from many locations within the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in.
