Sentinel Hill will appeal to active people as it is suitable for those who travel by foot; most daily needs are convenient to carry out without needing to use a car. However, cycling is difficult in Sentinel Hill as there are few bike lanes, and bicycling is rendered arduous by the typically hilly terrain. Nevertheless, a few bike-friendly areas can be found. The car is usually the best approach to get around in this neighbourhood. Many properties for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is very easy to park. In contrast, commuting by public transit is occasionally challenging in Sentinel Hill. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop.
Services
It is a short walk to get to primary schools from anywhere in this part of the municipality. On the other hand, Sentinel Hill does not have any high schools. In terms of eating, it is often feasible for house buyers in this part of the municipality to purchase groceries by walking. Furthermore, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and a limited number of coffee shops can be found as well.
Character
The character of Sentinel Hill is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. This part of West Vancouver is quiet, as the streets tend to be reasonably peaceful - although that is not the case closer to Trans-Canada Highway. Finally, there are a few public green spaces close by for residents to unwind in and they are very well-distributed, making it very easy to access them.
