Cars are a great mode of transportation in Gleneagles. Nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are very easy to reach from anywhere in this area, and it is very convenient to park. However, public transit users may experience few choices in this area by reason of the infrequent service. Nonetheless, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally very close. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very well-suited for walking since almost no day-to-day errands can be run on foot. Gleneagles is also not very bicycling-friendly since there are very few bike lanes, and there are quite a few hills.

Services

A fraction of house buyers in Gleneagles may be able to do groceries by walking, while others will need another means of transportation. There are also a few opportunities for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes. As far as education is concerned, families will welcome the proximity to primary schools, which are within walking distance from most properties for sale in this part of West Vancouver. However, there are no high schools in Gleneagles.

Character

People who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Gleneagles. Parks are very well-distributed and there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit, making it very easy to get to them from most locations within this area. This neighbourhood is also fairly good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some parts can be quite loud, especially around Trans-Canada Highway.
