The favoured way to get around in this part of West Vancouver is very often driving. It is a short car ride to the closest highway, such as Highway 99, from anywhere in Eagle Harbour, and it is especially convenient to come across a place to park. However, the public transit service in this neighbourhood is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most houses are close to a bus stop. This part of the municipality is not very appropriate for cycling because the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and there is a considerable amount of elevation changes. It is also very inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in Eagle Harbour because running common errands is very impractical on foot.

Services

Purchasing one's groceries very often demands the use of a car in this neighbourhood. A limited number of restaurants can be found in Eagle Harbour. As far as education is concerned, primary schools are easy to access on foot from most homes for sale in this part of the municipality. However, Eagle Harbour does not contain any high schools.

Character

The character of Eagle Harbour is exemplified by its calm ambience. There are approximately 10 parks close by for residents to explore, which makes it easy to access them from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood. This part of the municipality is also reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however noise can be bothersome around the railway line, Trans-Canada Highway or Highway 99.
