This neighbourhood does not demand use of a car because several other methods of transportation are available. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are especially suitable for those who travel by foot; running daily errands is very convenient, and plenty of businesses are especially nearby. Biking is also convenient in Central Business District because the bicycling network is very extensive. The great public transit infrastructure makes transit a viable option for many people by reason of a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Expo Skytrain and Canada Line Skytrain, and about 40 nearby bus lines. However, Central Business District is not very car friendly because very little of the street network is well suited for cars, and parking is not very easy.
