The car is very often the preferred approach to get around in Squamish. The majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, and it is very easy to park. However, Squamish is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the municipality is served by a few bus lines, and most houses are close to a bus stop.
