Transportation

Driving is a very good transportation option in this part of the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area. Coming across a place to park is easy. On the other hand, public transit riders may experience few options in Richmond as a result of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, there is the Bridgeport Station, Lansdowne Station and Richmond - Brighouse Station on the Canada Line. There are various rapid transit stations with access to the Canada Line. The city is served by approximately 20 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. The bike is a fairly poor means of transportation in this part of the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area as the cycling network is rather limited, and the terrain is not especially flat. Richmond is also not particularly conducive to those who travel by foot since carrying out daily needs is difficult.

Services

The closest supermarket in this part of the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area is generally only a reasonably short walk away. Moreover, Richmond is a good place in which to go out to eat, and a limited selection of coffee shops can be found as well. Most areas in this part of the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area are quiet, as the streets tend to be tranquil - however noise can be problematic closer to Highway 99, Highway 91A, one of the railway lines or the airport (YVR). Lastly, there are over 400 parks close by for residents to unwind in, resulting in them being easy to get to from the majority of locations within the city.
