Walking is practical for residents in this part of District of North Vancouver, although common errands are sometimes difficult to run without the use of a vehicle. However, moving around by bicycle is challenging in this neighbourhood as the cycling infrastructure is somewhat poor, and bicycling is rendered difficult by the often steep area. Valley Centre is not especially transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. In contrast, travelling by car is straightforward in this part of the municipality. The majority of houses for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, and it is convenient to park.
