Driving is very often the preferred way to move around in this area. It is very convenient to find a place to park. However, residents using public transit may have few options in this part of District of North Vancouver due to the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. This area is not very cycling-friendly because the bicycling network is not very extensive, and there is a considerable amount of slopes. Roche Point is also not very suitable for those who travel by foot because very few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of District of North Vancouver. Additionally, it can be very difficult to reach daycares on foot. With regards to food, a supermarket is usually accessible within a reasonably short walk from most properties for sale in Roche Point.

Roche Point offers a calm ambience and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. It is very easy to access parks since there are a few of them close by for residents to discover. This neighbourhood is also reasonably quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic.
