Delta is an extraordinarily good part of the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area for travelling by car. It is very convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 91A, are reasonably easy to access from any location in Delta. On the other hand, this municipality is not an especially pleasant part of the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, homeowners are served by around 20 bus lines, and most houses are near a bus stop. It is impractical for people walking to move around in Delta as running daily errands is difficult. This municipality is also not very appropriate for cycling because there are quite a few elevation changes, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive.

Services

It can be challenging to get to high schools and primary schools as a pedestrian from homes for sale in Delta. Additionally, there are only a few daycares and consequently they can be an extended walk away. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. In terms of food, some, but not all, property owners in Delta will live within walking distance of one of over 50 supermarkets. There are also over 250 restaurants and cafes in Delta.

Character

The character of Delta is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. This part of the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area is reasonably good for those who need quiet surroundings, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although there are still several louder sections, especially closer to the airport (ZBB), Highway 91, Highway 99 or one of the railway lines. Lastly, there are over 250 parks nearby for residents to enjoy, which results in them being easy to access from the majority of locations within Delta.
