Cars are a great transportation option in this neighbourhood. Nearby highways are easy to reach from any location in this part of Abbotsford, and coming across a place to park is easy. On the other hand, travelling by public transit is challenging in this area. Thankfully, house owners benefit from approximately 20 bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Travelling by foot in this part of the city is not very popular, despite the fact that many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

A supermarket is usually accessible within a rather short walk from any location in Historic Downtown. Moreover, a restaurant is often just around the corner, for instance on Essendene Avenue, and a small selection of coffee shops is available as well. The noise levels in this neighbourhood are low, as the streets are reasonably tranquil - although there are still several louder sections, especially around one of the railway lines. Lastly, it is easy to access public green spaces since there are a few of them nearby for residents to explore.
