This part of Edmonton is very car friendly. Most houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and parking is easy. In contrast, the public transit system in Rosenthal is rather poor. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally relatively close by. Rosenthal is not very amenable to cycling since this part of Edmonton is home to a fairly poor bicycling infrastructure, and the topography is not particularly flat. It is also very impractical for pedestrians to navigate this neighbourhood since very few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

This part of Edmonton does not have any high schools or primary schools. In addition, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long walk away. When it comes to eating, property owners in Rosenthal usually need a vehicle to access the closest supermarket.

Rosenthal is quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-situated, resulting in them being occasionally challenging to reach from many locations in the neighbourhood. Despite that, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to enjoy.
