Moving around by bicycle is easy in Carlisle as cyclists do not face significant elevation changes, and the cycling network is reasonably comprehensive. This part of Edmonton is not especially conducive to walking because few daily errands can be run without the use of a car.


It is convenient to reach the closest grocery store by walking from anywhere in this area. A small variety of restaurants is available in Carlisle as well. Concerning education, it is a reasonably short walk to get to primary schools and daycares from most properties for sale in this part of the city. However, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood.


Carlisle is a great neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. This part of Edmonton is very quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic.
